1. Recording telephone messages
   ➢ when callers speak quickly, you need to write quickly to note everything down.
2. Writing shopping lists
   ➢ this can be a chore, but with speedwriting it can be done very quickly.
3. Taking dictation
   ➢ be a more effective PA; take faster notes when your manager dictates.
4. Making notes in a lecture
   ➢ make sure you don't miss anything the lecturer says.
